Gold climbed to near the highest level since October on concerns about the impact of President Donald Trump’s latest tariff threats against China and the European Union on the global economy.
Spot gold rose between $2,749 and $2,764 per ounce, finishing the day at $2,752. It traded at $2,752 as of 08:48 AM in the new day.
Gram gold tried to maintain its gains due to the upward movement in the dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate and the strong stance of the ounce gold. It fluctuated between 3,139 and 3,167 liras yesterday and ended the day at 3,157 liras. As of the same time in the new day in the morning session, it was trading at 3,154 liras.
